Puerto Consuelo is the first livestock colony in the region, in other words, this is the first farm in the provincial capital of Ultima Esperanza. Its origins date back to the year 1893 when the family Eberhard started developing the commercial activity in the region. The farm is located at the edge of the protected Eberhard Fjord, where the contrast between the pampas, the mountains and the sea play a central role. There is no better way to go all over the farm than to ride a horse. During less than two hours journey we will discover and be amazed by the exceptional views that this unique place offers. The history of seafarers, explorers and discoveries will be a vivid part of our experience.
The excursion includes safety equipment and well trained horses. Back from our ride we will share more than one anecdote with the gauchos of the farm and will drink some nice ‘mate’ to recover energy. Before we start the excursion, tourists will be asked to provide information on previous riding experiences so as to look for the suitable horse.
